🛠 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prep Your PopGrip

If you ordered the pre-installed version — you're golden. Otherwise:

  • Remove your swappable PopGrip from its adhesive base.
  • Make sure it's clean and free of gunk or old tape.

Step 2: Lock PopGrip into the Adapter

  • Align the two notches on the PopGrip base with the grooves in the adapter.
  • Press straight down on the PopGrip top.
  • Twist clockwise until you hear/feel it click into place.

Step 3: Mount the Adapter to Your Case

  • Pop the adapter into your QuadLock or Rokform mount just like any official accessory.
  • You're now free to grip phone like a boss.

🔁 Reinstalling the PopGrip Base (If It Pops Out)

If the swappable base separates from the collapsible section, follow this WikiHow guide on fixing PopSockets.

👀 If It's Not Locking In…

  • Check for debris: clean the adapter and PopGrip base.
  • Try another PopGrip: some older grips wear out or don't lock properly.
  • Still loose? Use a small strip of painter's tape around your case's mounting point to tighten things up.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Don't force the twist — the grip should click in smoothly.
  • Want to swap PopGrips often? Keep a spare mounted on a PopGrip coupler (sold separately).
